Morning all,

I come to you, the ZOO faithful, in need this morning. This last weekend, myself and a few others completed our booking for the Amsterdam Tournament, which is being held at the beginning of August. The tournament, being held on Thursday 2nd and Saturday 4th, this year includes hosts Ajax, Serie A's Lazio and Atletico Madrid, as well as my beloved Gooners.

I've never been to Amsterdam before, and I am sure that one or two ZOO readers have been for whatever reason; be it business, social, leisure, or smut.

So I'd like to ask for your advice. What are the best places in the city in your experience? What bars would we be fools to miss out on, and what bars should we do all we can to avoid? The best hotspots, clubs, whatever: I want you to let me know your experiences of Amsterdam and hear of any recommendations that you've got for us.
