Comedy genius Will Ferrell is a king amongst men - Anchorman, Old School, Elf are all classics - but Casa De Mi Padre is slightly different, it's all in Spanish and it's hard to see where he was coming from with this one...

The Latin American comedy sees Armando Alvarez (Ferrell) as an honest, gentle dreamer who works on his father's ranch that is suffering financial difficulties.

Armando's rich and successful younger brother Raul, appears with his fiancée Sonia, played by the stunningly gorgeous Genesis Rodriguez (¡Ay, caramba!) and promises to relieve the ranch of their money woes.

However, Raul's fortune proves to be less than legit and the Alvarez family soon find themselves at war with Mexico’s most feared drug lord.

The latest in Will Ferrell's ever-growing list of funny flicks is certainly worth a watch - even if it's just because you're too impatient to wait for Anchorman 2. It’s got Genesis Rodriguez in it for goodness sake! That’s got to be worth something?

Casa De Mi Padre will be available on DVD and Blu-Ray from October 1.
