Grand Theft Auto V (GTA 5): New Transport Screenshots Drive Us Crazy!
Enough with the dancing cats on Daybreak - this is the sort of news we like waking up to.
Yep, Rockstar Games has released five new teaser screenshots from Grand Theft Auto V (GTA 5).
The mini-set - entitled "Transport" - showcase some different methods of how you'll be getting around Los Santos when the game is eventually released.
They are the humble (super) car; the environmentally friendly bicycle; corporate helicopter; and, quite brilliantly, an F16-style attack jet.
There's also another screenshot showing a man (potentially your character) dipping his feet into a gloriously detailed lake off the side of a pier.
This is the first real bit of new teaser info we've had since the first GTA 5 trailer hit the web back in November 2011.
Clearly, the game's publicity machine is beginning to ramp up the pace, and we'd suspect a new trailer and (hopefully) a release date will be on their way soon.
Although Take-Two - who own Rockstar Games - have remained silent about any GTA 5 release date, many online rumours and clues are pointing towards a mid-to-late 2013 release. If traditional Grand Theft Auto release schedules continue with this latest instalment, we could be looking at an October 2013 release.
UPDATE: It looks like online retailer Zavvi has leaked the GTA 5's release date - 23 November 2012. Given the relative lack of info we have got of the game so far, we're keeping our eyebrows firmly raised on this one.
It's unlikely, but a Zavvi spokesman has confirmed that date has been given to them in good faith by their own suppliers. Our beard does feel a bit itchy on this one, though...
But, in short, there's a while to go yet - which is why screenshots like this are helping to keep our tongues wagging and thumbs twiddling in sweet, sweet anticipation.
We only wish for one thing from what is surely going to be one of the biggest entertainment releases of all time: that cousin Roman stops f**king ringing us as we don't want to go f**king bowling with him any f**king more.
