Flowers Of War: Awesome Sniper Clip From Christian Bale's New Epic!
Set way back in 1937, Flowers Of War takes place during the invasion of Nanking in Japan. The Dark Knight himself, Christian Bale, stars as John Miller - a mortician from the US that ends up posing as a priest to protect a group of local girls.
However, the clip above shows a lone sniper tackling a group of Japanese soldiers using German grenades as explosive targets to take down his pursuers. The swooping cameras and booming explosions are executed brilliantly.
We can't wait to catch Flowers Of War when it starts showing exclusively in Empire Cinemas from 3 August and on DVD from 6 August.
