Do you remember The Punisher? It was a distinctly average 2004 film starring Thomas Jane as antihero Frank Castle who sought some good old fashioned vigilante revenge on John Travolta.

Perhaps unhappy with film studios' treatment of the comicbook legend, the film's star Thomas Jane has produced his very own ten-minute Punisher short film, called Dirty Laundry.

It was revealed at Comic-Con 2012 and has found its way online - and it is awesome.

There's a gritty street gang storyline, a cameo of mega-faced Ron Perlman and a ridiculous amount of gory violence to boot.

"Punisher fans are already fighting an uphill battle as it is," says Frank Castle himself, Thomas Jane. "And I’ve always felt a responsibility to fight that fight for them and with them so that Frank Castle gets the treatment he deserves."

We reckon he's getting exactly the treatment he deserves in this short film. Now it's just up to the men in suits to give this a green light. After all, if this sort of thing gets made into a full film, we'll be pre-ordering our tickets instantly. MAKE IT HAPPEN, MEN IN SUITS.
