Finally! Finally Skyfall, the latest of Daniel Craig's outings as 007, has broken cover with its first teaser trailer.

And we think it's fair to say that it has been worth the wait.

Skyfall, the 23rd James Bond film, has been dogged with production issues - largely owing to financial problems at the film's producers, MGM. However, it began filming on 7 November 2011 and after six months, we finally have a damn good teaser trailer to show for it.

The film is set to address Bond's loyalty to M over secrets from her past, and revolve around 007 hunting down a group who attack the MI6 HQ in London.

Various leaks and rumours lead us to believe the film will include an Aston Martin DB5, a massive explosion in London, a fight on top of a moving train and a motorcycle chase across Turkish rooftops. But given Bond's reputation, we wouldn't be surprised if you were expecting all of the above anyway.

All in all, we can't bloody well wait. It almost tops this classic mash-up Bond trailer...

Skyfall premieres on 26 October 2012 and will be the first James Bond film to be shown in IMAX.
