Max Payne App Review!
Grand Theft Auto III was a huge success on the iPhone & iPad, but now Rockstar are back with round two on the App Store: a port of the brutal Max Payne.
Like the GTA port, which ZOO reviewed a few months back, Max Payne is an exact replica of its PS2 version - retaining the same quality of graphics and bullet time features that made it so famous to begin with.
Of course, there's still the exact same violent storyline, awesome guns and quirky comic book panels from the original release in 2001.

The biggest difference - or should we say the only difference - is the fact that the game now naturally uses touchscreen controls as opposed to the traditional controller.
We won’t lie: the control system was a tad fiddly to begin with and perhaps not as easy to master as the GTA III iOS game. But given time, it becomes progressively easier as the game progresses.

Assuming then that you can look past the new control system (which you should), you’ve got a fantastic game on your hands that’ll provide roughly 10-15 hours worth of entertainment at your fingertips.
Plus, if you're a fancy git with one of those shiny iPads, you can play the game on that as well - without having to fork out any extra money.
So whether you’re travelling on your morning commute or simply sitting in the bog to pass the time, you can now enjoy Rockstar’s badass cop whenever and wherever you want!

In A Nutshell: £1.99 for one of the PS2’s best ever games? You'd be mad to not be tempted to buy this.
