It's hard to believe how young some of us were when American Pie first hit cinemas in 1999. A quick survey of some of the ZOO team ages us at 9 for @JonMoody61 and @Laurence_Moza, 13 for @JennyAnneDore and the grand old age of 15 for @AJWilsher.

But as the seminal teen movie is set to return to cinemas thirteen years later, most of the teens that grew up with the original trilogy are now proper adults with facial hair, kids and a penchant for BBC Radio 4.

But going by the latest trailer for American Pie: Reunion, the old crew of Jim, Oz, Kevin, Finch and Stifler are coming to terms with their age. They're stressed and have crappy jobs, but still love to chug beer and steal bikinis.

It's not quite a coming of age movie - more about being aged and coming. Nevertheless, we can't wait to see it - especially Stifler's obligatory gross-out scene, which in the past has seen him drink jizz, get pissed on, and eat s**t.

A film about young people partying has been done hundreds of times over, but the idea of our beloved cast of oddballs showing the Twilight genration how it's done has great potential!
