Gotham City Imposters Review!
January is a tough old month. The Paycheque has to stretch almost as far as the waistband, no one wants to go to the pub because everyone's "detoxing" and it's too cold to warrant any kind of outdoor activity.
That's why the release of Gotham City Imposters is pretty much the perfect post-festive remedy.
The gem is a stupidly entertaining first-person that looks and feels like the b*stard lovechild of Saints Row and Modern Warfare, and it's so far removed from Arkham City that if this duo were cousins, no one would frown upon them sleeping together.
There's no main store to speak of, but the download-only title still has plenty of life thanks to the addictive online multiplayer. Plus, unlike the somewhat restrictive shooters out there, Imposters boasts enough customisation to keep even the pickiest of gamers satisfied.
Want to look like a crazy fat clown with a green Afro and a pair of pink leopard-print Y-fronts? Go for it! If you're looking for endlessly entertaining gameplay, mental guns and a cheap alternative to the £40 titles on the shelves, then Gotham City Imposters is for you.
IN A NUTSHELL
Silly by addictive, Imposters is a top example of awesome multiplayer action on a budget.
