Killzone 3
Sony’s epic shooter returns and it’s better than ever. The full 3D scenery is mind-blowing, with a sense of scale like no other game we’ve played before. The battle continues to rage between human Special Forces and the Helghast army. With improved combat controls, this is an early contender for the best title of 2011. 8/10
Bulletstorm
You’re Grayson Hunt (not rhyming slang), a washed-up mercenary who fights his way through flesh-
eating beasts to get off a planet. The story is familiar, but the gameplay shines through. Take control of an array of weapons, including an electronic whip that flings enemies into the air and rewards you for the most audacious kills. 9/10
