Film Reviews: Green Zone!
The posters scream “Bourne Goes Epic!”. Don’t believe a word of it. Matt Damon teaming up with the same director is as far as the similarities go. About the US military’s futile search for WMDs in Iraq, Damon’s a warrant officer tired of always finding nothing, so he investigates a Pentagon cover-up about the intel they’re receiving. Starts off intelligent and political before ramping up the action in the final third.

AND THE BEST OF THE REST MOVIES OUT NOW...
It’s the new Scorsese film, it’s got Leonardo DiCaprio in fine form as a federal agent and a mind-twisting plot (a mental patient disappears from a locked cell on an island asylum), but it blows its early promise with a ludicrous twist that you’ll probably guess early on, but dismiss for being a bit crap. It’s a shame because otherwise it’s a suspenseful thriller.
(DVD, Blu-ray) It’s already the most successful zombie movie ever and with very good reason. Four survivors of a deadly virus (including Woody Harrelson, Michael Cera-alike Jesse Eisenberg and Superbad fittie Emma Stone) hit the road together to try and avoid the wandering undead swarms. Hilarious, violent and Bill Murray’s cameo is quite possibly the funniest in cinema history.
Eastbound & Down
(DVD, Blu-ray) Danny McBride’s hysterical TV series – he’s nailed the clueless loser type he first played in The Foot Fist Way. Here, he’s an obnoxious, down-on-his-luck former baseball player, who’s forced to return home and take a job at a local high school and gets through his days by listening to his own sweary motivational tape You’re F**king
Out, I’m F**king In.
