From Paris With Love
John Travolta takes hamming it up to new pork-injected levels as a (cliché alert!) wise-cracking, loose-cannon CIA agent sent to France to stop a terrorist action. Be prepared
– it’s pretty dumb and utterly ridiculous. It’s also a hysterical thrill-ride of action as Travolta and his rookie partner Jonathan Rhys Meyers shoot Paris to pieces. Your girlfriend will hate it, but you will absolutely love it.

Fantastic Mr Fox
(DVD, Blu-ray) George Clooney is perfectly cast as the farmer-bothering chicken-raider in the retro remake of Roald Dahl’s classic kids’ tale. The humour’s surprisingly rude and you’ll be plagued by, “Ah, whose voice is that?” moments as the celeb cameos tot up. Listen out for: Owen Wilson, Bill Murray and, um, Jarvis Cocker, among others.

The Crazies
A town’s water is contaminated by a mysterious toxin, turning most residents into rabid killing machines. Offers nothing new – unsurprising because it’s a remake.

Dead Man Running
(DVD, Blu-ray) Rio Ferdinand and Ashley Cole’s super-slick crime caper. Danny Dyer and Tamer Hassan try
to raise £100k in 24 hours to pay off 50 Cent’s loan shark.

Everybody’s Fine
As March gets ready to roll in, we’re waiting for spring and wondering when girls will brave short skirts. Meanwhile, De Niro’s in this average Christmas comedy. Odd. HHIII
