Adidas Pellara
The cricket season is officially go! And apparently, 'Pellara' is Latin for 'strike or drive'. Hence this lump of wood from Adidas is for the batsman who likes to get forward. There are seven grades: level one is the “elite”, honed from English willow, but beyond level four, you’re getting entry-level Kashmir wood. So best up your game.
Expect to pay: from £50 for 'club' version and up to around £300 for 'elite'.
