Drop England Stars?
Footballers are not the best-behaved chaps on the pitch let alone off it, but when off-field antics begin to interfere with dressing room unity, is dropping stars the only answer.
The papers have been filled over recent weeks with revelations of sordid affairs and betrayal by some of England’s biggest stars. Wayne Bridge has gone as far as ruling himself out of the World Cup after the news of former teammate John Terry’s affair with the mother of his child.
In a year where England has everything to play for should we be overlooking misdemeanors and only focusing on the football on the park or do the recent shenanigans prove that the off-field stuff can quickly affect on-field matters and therefore can’t be ignored.
What do you think – should England stars be dropped for off-field antics?
