England's cricketers went from Ashes glory to One-Day disaster!

The England team avoided a 7-0 whitewash at the hands of the Aussies by the skin of their teeth.

Their win at Chester-le-Street made it 6-1, but England had been so undeniably out-played throughout the series that ZOO wonders whether England shouldn't just ditch ODIs and stick to the Test game!

Graeme Swann did manage a career best five for 28 in the last match, while batting captain Andrew Strauss fell just three short of his half-century.

It was clutching at straws though really, as the skipper admitted his side had been utterly 'smashed'.
