Transfer Deadline Round Up

Robinho

City Shocker!
The big stories on deadline day all came out of Eastlands. After being taken over by Middle East company, Abu Dhabi United Group, Man City then proceeded to rock the footballing world with bids for Dimitar Berbatov (Tottenham), David Villa (Valencia) and Mario Gomez (Stuttgart).

Failing in their audacious bid for Dimitar Berbatov, the oil-rich Arabs then launched and succeeded in an even more outrageous bid for Chelsea target Robinho. The Brazilian, who had just recently announced he wanted to move to Chelsea, signed for a British transfer record fee of £32.5m, inking a four-year deal on £90,000 a week.

Interesting to hear that Robinho broke down in tears and threatened to retire if /madrid didn't let him leave to join ANY orther team

Glad to see them get some players in - we don't need another derby in the premiership

Looks like a decent player

Breaking news: KEEGAN has left Newcastle!

ORDINARY player!!!!!!

Better than Jo

Looked decent against Pool.
Though i think Moyes needs another striker and a winger

Great goal scoring record for club and country

Great signing though v expensive - i want to see how the fee is broken down

Fair play - good signing.
BUT I cannot see him staying with them.
Also the bid for Villa didn't happen - Madrid were the only ones to make an enquiry for him
