West Ham away

A game that every Royals fan wanted to win. Pardew factor, past big club / little club spats and of course its always fun to wind up our friends from Essex...

Reading won it from a single goal scored in the 2nd minute by our man Seol - a superb strike after a little bit of meandering around the edge of the box. It has to be said that if this was scored by Gerrard or the like it...

1 all. I'm happy, thought for about 10 mins we might hold out for the win... But my dissapointment was more then made up for by seeing Sonko skin Rooney.

Anyway - thanks to Hob Nob - have a look at the costs of the teams, puts the score line into some context the boys should be proud! :

Man Utd
Van der Sar,2,500,000

Darlington - epic

First part of my prognosis nearly right - Darlington took us to the edge - the Royals only coming through on penalties after extra time (pity the poor sods who had to make their way back up North after the 10:30pm finish..)

It has to be said - the Reading team was made up of nearly all the guys who do not feature in the first team - no excuses though...

Bring on...
