Labrinth - Earthquake: Live Acoustic Performance From Wireless Festival!
London's Wireless Festival was another rip-roaring success this year, with headline performances from the likes of Rihanna, Drake and Deadmau5 rocking the 80,000 in Hyde Park.
But it was singer-songwriter Timothy McKenzie - better known by his stage name Labrinth - who stole the show in the HP Live Series tent.
The vastly talented 23-year-old played a mini set, which included renditions of his latest single Express Yourself and Earthquake. You can watch the latter above.
The series of intimate gigs was to enable festival goers to "experience the sound" of HP's newest range of laptops.
We'll be perfectly honest - we didn't fully appreciate how talented Labrinth is on the ol' guitar. And loads of other instruments by all accounts. We're big fans now. We must admit that it did take us a while to really like the man, as whenever we thought of Labrinth, our minds immediately jumped to one of the most frustrating games of all time. We reckon that poxy marble balancing nightmare has given us bad memories of our grandparents - simply as it was the only game they had round their house that we could play with. Apparently the oven and box of bleaches were "too dangerous" to play with. They were more of a buzz kill than Buzz Killington.
