According to a recent survey, Essex is the part of Britain where you can score the cheapest date.

The investigation - conducted by groupola.com - found that 22% of woman that live in Essex would be happy with just £20 being spent on them. Burger me lads.

1,655 women took part in the survey that revealed the top 10 towns and cities in the UK that are home to the cheapest dates, with Liverpool and Newport taking the closely contested silver and bronze places.

But Essex takes the crown with a wallet-friendly 61% of ladies confessing they are a cheap date and a further whopping 52% being prepared to split the bill.
 
And don’t worry about a McFlurry lads, as desert may already be prepared at home, with a promising 21% of Essex girls have admitted that they had slept with somebody following the first date.
