Cristiano Ronaldo is an incredibly easy person to dislike. There’s his all-conquering footballing talent, the endless conveyor belt of top-end babes, the enormous wage and the way he’s slowly weaseling his way off to Real Madrid (actually, that’s quite funny – unless you’re a Man United fan).

And, this summer, he’s made it even easier for us to hate him with the look he’s elected to show off on holiday. Added to the growing loathe-list is his over-gelled hair, tiny swimming trunks, ever deepening mahogany tan, perv-friendly shades and that sympathy-plea leg brace for his injured right ankle.

But judging by the ladies he’s managing to woo looking like this, maybe we’re all missing a trick? Perhaps adopting the pool lizard look is the perfect way to pull?

Only one way to find out: cake a ZOO staffer in fake tan, jam him into a pair of little shorts, strap an ankle cast on his foot and hit the sunny streets to see what the ladies think!
