Liam Case (Cuba Gooding Jr) is a small town trash collector who stages a robbery so that he can impress a girl by being the hero, that is until the perfect plan takes an awful turn. Waking in the hospital, Liam vows to put things right by seeking vengeance against the thieves that left him for dead. Unfortunately for him, Detective Terry Subcott (Ray Liotta) sees him as the prime suspect in several brutal vigilante killings and closing in fast.

In a twisty plot structured, Liam races against the clock to enact his own form of private justice, battling a gang of vicious criminals dominated by Derek (Tommy Flanagan) and the Brothers McGraw (Kim Coates and Steven Kozlowski), all while dodging the authorities hot on his trail.

Hero Wanted is out on DVD from the 16th June.
