Hit E4 show Skins has confirmed its entire cast will change for Series Three.

After beginning nationwide open auditions recently and announcing that they’re on the look-out for an “Eastern European male and identical twin sisters,” executive producer Bryan Elson confirmed that all current characters will be axed.

“There are risks associated with dumping a cast, but we just did it,” Elson said. “There was some disquiet at the channel, but then they told us just to go with it.”

He also confirmed Skins would continue to introduce college-age characters, exploring them further in the follow-up series before letting them go again.
