After Steven Gerrard's gaffe was burgled just before Christmas, the club decided to postpone their festive do.

And it wasn't until Wednesday night that the belated shindig finally went ahead and the Scousers donned their fancy rags.

Luckily for Rafa, the dolly birds and other troubles that seem to dog other team's parties was avoided. Probably because the ‘ballers looked like foolboys in their fancy dress costumes - including Harry Kewell, Daniel Agger and Fabio Aurelio who donned gym, punk and chav gear to get into the spirit of things.

Hosted at Jamie Carragher's Cafe Sports England restaurant, the fan favourite defender himself went as X Factor's Rhydian, whilst team mates John Arne Riise and Xabi Alonso went as Batman and Del Boy respectively. Check out their cossies!

But leading the charge, as ever, was Stevie G whose movie-quality make-up and mobility scooter aged him fifty years - unlike Peter Crouch's penguin effort!
