Over the past few weeks, we’ve conducted a tireless search for the UK’s sexiest sand pit, otherwise known as a “beach”. How? Well, that’s top secret.

But one particularly enjoyable bit was sifting through thousands of pictures of stunners who appeared as our Real Girl Beach Babes in the mag. Tough job, but someone had to do it, so we did… and now we can finally name Bournemouth as Britain’s Hottest Beach 2009!
